jas, claudia, and me went to a show in imperial. it was at the imperial legion, instead of the airport. i was looking forward for this show because THRILLER was playing. when we got there, we parked the car down the block, and stayed in there listening to music, smoking and jas/claudia were finishing their drinks. then out of nowhere shane and dee came from around the corner and started talking to us for a while. we left the car and went to sit in front of the legion, and a guy [band kid] came up to us and asked to bum a cigarette off us. he was cute, tall, dirty blond hair. jas gave him a cig, and he sat down and talked to us about how hot it was here and how long the trip from LA to imperial was, because they got lost along the way, and how he used to surf, until he picked up a base guitar. his band was friends with thriller, so that is how they ended up playing here. then we went inside and saw the end of snail play. they really sucked, and i am not just saying that, but i do have a few things against the guys in the band. OLD DRAMA. anyhooo, the next couple of bands were okay, and then thriller played at the end. they were awesome, like the last time i saw them. the lead singer is way cute [strait] and so was one of the base players [surprisingly strait as well]. afterwords, we stayed and talked to the bands for about 3 hours, and they are about the coolest people u could ever meet. jas was talking more to this asian guy from another band named taylor, and got his phone number (don't hate me for saying this). while she was talking to him, claudia and me were waiting in the car, and jeremy, a guy from thriller, came and talked to us. thriller was going to las vegas after this, so we were talking about that. actually, jasiel and claudia were really contemplating about going with them to vegas. anyhooo, we said goodbye to them about three times before actually leaving. and after jas and claudia dropped me off, they went to del taco, where the band was eating and stayed to talk to them for another hour. and all in all, i love thriller! everyday, me and jas go to starbucks. and on the back of the starbucks cups, they have these sayings by different people call THE WAY I SEE IT. and everyday we were getting the same ones over and over again, about darwinism and evolution, and one about love which was really cool. but we were getting tired of getting them, then out of no where we got this one about god the other day. and now, i got this on, just about five minutes ago, and i am so excited. i hope u feel the same way. (i'll keep u updated on any new ones). THE WAY I SEE IT #241
Worldwide, nearly 40 million people are living with HIV and AIDS. Over 13 million children are infected with HIV each year. And 25 years into the AIDS pandemic, no vaccine or cure is in sight. The number speak for themselves. What are you going to do to help?
-- Joe Cristina founder of the children affected by AIDS Foundation
[i am liking these new ones, they are starting to get intense!]
